KSUSTA Approves 2 Weeks for Late Registration into 2012/2013 Session

Against the 26th October deadlinefor registration of new students in the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero, KSUSTA, the school management has accepted to grant a two-weeks late registration graceperiod.

The decision for the late registration was reached today after the senate meeting of the university held in KSUSTA.

It was fixed that the late registration will last for just two weeks and any student registering now will pay a late feeof N2,000.

After this 2 weeks, no more registration will be allowed and any student who fail to meet up within the 2 weeks will have to either defer his or her admission, or forfeit it entirely.

To be fore-warned, is to be fore-armed!

EBSU Releases Pre-degree Admission List and Registration Guidelines

The management of Ebonyi State University pre-degree school has published the pre-degree first batch admission list on the pre-degree notice board in the school campus (CAS).

All prospective candidates should proceed to the school campus to check their names and follow suit to register for the programme.

Registration will start on 1st of Nov. 2012

school fees: for indigenes is#20,000

None indigene is #50,000

Text book fees: Art option#12,080

science option #12,230

Lectures will commence on 19-11-12.

Note: only those that are fully registered are regarded as admitted candidates and only admitted candidates will be allowed to receive lectures

Futo Re-opens Nov. 2 For 2012/2013 Session - Fresh & Old Students

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) will officially re-open on the 2nd of November. Detailed schedule for the session as shown below;

-Fresh students come into residence - 2nd November 2012.

-Registration of fresh students begins - 5th November 2012

-Old students come into residence- 11th November 2012

-Registration of old students and orientation programme for fresh students - 12th November 2012

-Lectures start- 19th November 2012

Students can start paying fees as stipulated in the procedure/ postal Guidelines below, from Tuesday 30th October 2012.

ESUT Supplementary Admission Forms Now On Sale for 2012/2013

Enugu State University of Science and Technology invites applications for Supplementary Admission from suitably qualified candidates who selected the University as their most preferred and/or Second choice institution in the 2012 UTME and were not yet offered admission.

Supplementary Admission forms are available on-line at www.esutportal.net.

To be qualified for admission, candidates must have met the following conditions:
1.Scored 180 and above in the 2012 UTME.
2.Scored 120 and above in ESUT Post-UTME Screening test for candidates that selected the University as their first choice (most preferred) institution, or 140 and above for candidates that selected the University as their second choice (preferred) institution.

3.Met the University minimum entry requirements in their course of choice.
4.Taken the appropriate UTME subjects required for the proposed course of study in the 2012 UTME examination as indicated in the table below.

Procedure for Admission

1.Eligible candidates should pay a non-refundable application fee of Six Thousand, Three Hundred Naira only (₦6,300.00) in the under listed banks, obtain Registration PIN number from the bank and proceed with registration at www.esutportal.net.

2.Applications for admission into departments not listed below will not be processed.

3. This offer started from Monday 22nd October, 2012 and end on Friday 26th October, 2012.

UNIBEN Clearance Procedure for New Students 2012/2013

Outlined below are detailed steps for registration of new students of the University of Benin, UNIBEN for both UTME and Direct Entry 2012/2013.

1. The UTME and Direct Entry Candidates admitted into University of Benin for 2012/2013 academic session are required to login at https://unibenkofa.
waeup.org with the PUTME/PUDE username and password used for their application and result checking.

2. Click on “Download application slip”. Print it and take note of your ID
and Password. You will henceforth, use your ID and Password for subsequent login. Login and print your provisional admission letter.

3. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH THE RIGHT PASSPORT SIZE (1-inch
X 1-inch) PHOTOGRAPH USED FOR PUTME & PUDE ALREADY
EMBEDDED IN THEIR DOCUMENTS WITH REQUISITE
RESULTS TO CLEAR SHOULD PROCEED TO PAY THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF 65,000 (45,000 for some courses).

4. Optional: You can change your password by clicking “change password” button and you can also change your e-mail and phone number by using “Edit” button.

5. On the Menu, click on “My data” select “Payment” option then click on “Add online payment ticket” button.

6. Select from the Payment Category, Acceptance Fee and click on “Create Ticket” button and then click the link under Payment ID.

7. Click on the “College Pay” button to view payment details and click the “Submit” button to proceed with the payment through Interswitch payment gateway.

8. Select your ATM Card type: Verve or Master Card and supply the card details (card number, expiration date, 4-digit PIN etc) as required.

9. Then click on “PAY” button.

10. If payment is successful, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen. Copy the “Clearance Activation Code” on the acceptance payment slip.

11. Click on “My Data” on the menu and select “Clearance data” option. Enter your “Clearance Activation Code” to open your Clearance/Eligibility form.

12. Fill the Clearance/Eligibility Form appropriately. Scan and upload the following documents:

a. Certificates/ Statements of result
b. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
c. Acceptance Letter
d. Guarantor’s Letter
e. Affidavit of Good Conduct
f. Affidavit of Non-Membership of Secret Cults
g. JAMB offer of Provisional Admission slip to UNIBEN, get it here

Payment of acceptance fee commenced Monday 22nd October, 2012

13. At the bottom of the Clearance/Eligibility Form, click on the “Save” button to return later and complete the form OR click on “Save and request
clearance” button to finally submit your Clearance/Eligibility Form when you are done. You cannot edit the Clearance /Eligibility Form after final
submission.

14. Click on “Download clearance slip” button and print your Clearance/Eligibility slip. Present it with online payment receipt, six (6) copies each of the listed items a to g in item 12, including six coloured
passport photographs with red background and WAEC/NECO Scratch Card for checking results online to the clearance officers. The original credentials are for sighting during the physical clearance.

15. Physical clearance commences Monday 5th November to Friday 23rd November, 2012 at the University Auditorium Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5pm each day.

16. Limited accommodations are available for Fresh candidates effective from Monday 5th November, 2012.

17. Prohibition of Financial Transactions at Clearance Venue: There shall be no financial transactions in whatever form at the Main Auditorium Clearance Venue. Consequently, sales of Faculty Prospectus, Collection of dues, levies and other forms of Payment and Purchases are strictly prohibited.

The release of completed and signed Clearance/eligibility form to student should not be tied to any other payment other than the fund paid for clearance.
