make your admission a success.

Here are some tips Below to be aware of during your

FUTO POST-UTME.

• The FUTO Post utme is not a CB (

Computer based)

examination

• The number of questions in Recent years

has not been constant.

• When preparing for futo post ume

exams, bear in mind that futo is for science

student only, and science subjects are the

only post-utme subjects allowed.

• In futo there are 5 subjects you must

bear in mind when preparing for the post ume exams

they are

1. Mathematics

2. English

3. Physics

4. Chemistry

5. Biology selecting your subjects also depends on your course of

study. So visit www.futo.edu.ng to learn more about subject

requirements for various courses

• Futo repeat Post UTME questions, so you are

adviced to consult your Futo POST UTME past

questions or request for one by sending your email with #600 worth of

THE EXAMINATION SYSTEM: WHAT TO AVOID

• Number one thing to avoid in FUTO post-

utme is time wasting, because you are

given less time to tackle much questions.

• In year 2009, futo set 100 questions for

their candidates, meaning 20

questions from each of the 5 subjects for

1hr, without calculator, Then in year 2010,

when students where preparing for another 100 questions, futo came out with

just 50 questions to be answered in 35 mins without calculator. Now you see that

futo can change at any time to eliminate

candidates. Early Preparation therefore is the

only way to success with the help of past questions and practice.

For Citing Fed. University In Kebbi, Emir Of Gwandu Hails President Jonathan.

The Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammad Bashar, has commended President Goodluck Jonathan for approving the establishment of a federal university in Kebbi.

Bashar, who is also the Chairman, Kebbi Council of Chiefs, spoke on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi when Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’i, the Minister of Education, paid him courtesy visit.

He said the establishment was in fulfilment of the president’s campaign promise, adding that ”the fulfilment of that promise was historic.”

The emir gave an assurance that the traditional institution in the state would support the university, especially in instilling ethical and moral values in the students.

He decried poor quality teaching, especially at the primary school level, and stressed the need to emphasise quality education.

The minister had commended the emir for the interest shown in the development of education.

She said that the Federal Government earmarked N1.5 billion as initial grant to the university and another N1.1 billion budgeted for the construction of hotels.

The minister said the university would commence academic programmes next year. (NAN)
