Jamb Change Of Course/Institution

JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION

REASONS FOR CHANGE OF COURSE OR INSTITUTION
JAMB Change of Course/Institution is an opportunity given to JAMB candidates (Tertiary Institution Aspirants) to effect their desired changes in their Choice of Institution or Course after the conduct of UTME examinations. There are several reasons why candidates may want to change their choice of Institution or Course. Some of these reasons are:

1.Mistake in the registration process. Many JAMB candidates make costly mistakes during UTME registration because they lack the right admission orientation as a result of poor information and little or no guidance. They choose the “wrong” courses or institutions. Some candidates realize their mistakes after their UTME examinations and go for JAMB Change of Course/Institution.

2.Low UTME score. This is a major reason why candidates go for JAMB Change of Course/Institution. Many that score below 200 in UTME and still desire to go for a degree program, change their institutions to those that accept scores below 200. Others who scored above 200 but don’t think their scores are high enough to give them their initial choice of course also go for a change of course to courses considered as “low-profile” courses. They do this to boost their chances of gaining admission.

3.Deficiency in O’Level Result. Candidates in this category are mostly SS 3 students who use awaiting results when registering for JAMB UTME with hope that the result they are expecting will be good, but at the end of the day, the result may lack some of the required subjects for their course of choice. Such candidates are left with no other option than to change their course in line with their O’level result bearing in mind that failure to do so will lead to their disqualification (no matter their UTME and post-UTME scores).

How do I apply for this change of Institution/Course?

FUTO 2013 POST UTME AND REGISTRATION AND ADVICE

exam2

FUTOCOMMUNITY  will be helping a lot of students in the purchase of their FUTO post utme and registration.  FUTOCommunity  we will be doing things through quality provision of all the necessary information you might need as candidates for admission. First of all FUTO is a very big school and the first university of Technology in Owerri. Suffice it to note that, this year 32,448 and 26,134 chose FUTO as their first and second choice respectively, and mind you, the carrying capacity of FUTO is a little above 3,000. Doing the simple mathematics it means that for every one admission slot 19 students are jostling for it. So all things being equal your chances of getting admission is 1/19, though gaining admission in FUTO is partially dependent on your course of choice. The above statistics is not in any way to scare you, rather it is meant to make you work harder. I've been sending free post utme past questions to interested persons who are willing to make an impact.
HOWEVER, FUTO JAMB Index: 2013 JAMBITES Perfomancedizykif-2kpr2dl.png
Owerri as first or second choice so you know
who and
how many people you are competing with.

1st choice:-
180 to 199 = 9,218
200 and above = 4,240

total number of qualified 1st choice
candidates for
post jamb = 13,458

2nd choice:-
180 and 199 = 7,357
200 and above = 3,629.

total number of qualified 2nd choice
candidates for
post jamb = 10,986

This brings the total number of admission
seeks at
FUTO to 24,444.

Information is key and very vital and if you lack correct information you are doomed. call chuks on 08100003084 for advice. Majority of futo aspirants lost their admission into FUTO last year because they lacked information. Also a friend of mine During the time for post UTME registration, got his e-transact slip from the bank and went home to relax, unknown to him that the e-transact slip is not the main registration, but just a prerequisite for the online registration. On the day for the exam he was forced to write with the problem candidates since he didn't provide his PHOTO-CARD that he was supposed to get if he had registered online. The result came out and he got 276 and with his JAMB score of 264 he got an average of 270, but alas when the admission list for his department; Mathematics came out his name was nowhere to be found. In fact the highest person on the list got an average of about 250. He complained to the HOD of the department, who told him that his name was not amongst the list of students who chose the department. he wrote series of letters to the senate, but it was already late. The truth is that he wrote JAMB again this year, and I am sure he will keep his ears to the ground to avoid a re-occurrence of his last year's experience. Last year I helped a lot of students with information concerning the school, the several courses it offers cut-off marks and the FUTO post UTME and admission process. It was fun helping students and I am set out to do that again via our FUTO community network.
When preparing for futo post utme exams, you have to bear in mind that FUTO is a school of technology and therefore the subjects you have to read for the exams are science subjects Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry with use of English not excluded. Also remember that in FUTO Post UTME exam you are given little time; 50 questions to answer in 35 minutes to be precise. So you have to be very time conscious
but for those who stay very far away from school, we can help send it across to you for just #600 worth of mtn card pin with you active email address text it to 08100003084 and get it within 5min, we can also help you purchase and process the Post UTME application form when the time comes, which normally takes place this middle of june 2013. Give me a call on 08100003084, share with friends and like my page on facebook
here are small highlight on how to select a subject for your course of study in the post utme exam and please also try to visit the school website www.futo.edu.ng because change my aplly.

ABOUT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

dizykif-2kpr2dl.pngProject management is the discipline of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals. A project is a temporary endeavor with a defined beginning and end (usually time-constrained, and often constrained by funding or deliverable), undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value. The temporary nature of projects stands in contrast with business as usual (or operations), which are repetitive, permanent, or semi-permanent functional activities to produce products or services. In practice, the management of these two systems is often quite different, and as such requires the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies.

The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived constraints. The primary constraints are scope, time, quality and budget. The secondary —and more ambitious— challenge is to optimize the allocation of necessary inputs and integrate them to meet per-defined objectives. learn more on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_management

About Maritime Management Technology futo

dizykif-2kpr2dl.png

About the department of Maritime Management

Maritime Management Technology was the first programme in the School of Management Technology. Since 1982, Maritime Management Technology has been offered as an option in the Bachelor of Transport (B.Tech) Transport Management Technology programme. Areas of specialization available to students include; Shipping Management, Maritime Technology and Marine Resource Management. Our philosophy is to create a bridge between management/administration and conventional engineering and technology.

Our department is an appropriate ground for breeding technocrats for the maritime industry, who can give sound advice to management and possess technical know-how but have little knowledge of the management/coordination aspects of the system. Our main objective is to train technocrat-managers who can effectively manage the maritime sub sector of the Nigerian economy. We also aim to provide world-class, cost-effective training for young Nigerians in line with global best practices as well as produce graduates capable of making effective contributions at the lower/middle management cadre to the planning, policy making and management of projects in the Nigerian maritime industry and contributing to the overall development of the sector through joint research, seminars and workshop activities with national and international organizations.

• In futo there are 5 subjects you must

• Futo repeat Post UTME questions, so you are
adviced to consult your Futo POST UTME past

THE EXAMINATION SYSTEM: WHAT TO AVOID
• Number one thing to avoid in FUTO post-
utme is time wasting, because you are
given less time to tackle much questions.
• In year 2009, futo set 100 questions for
their candidates, meaning 20
questions from each of the 5 subjects for
1hr, without calculator, Then in year 2010,
when students where preparing for another 100 questions, futo came out with
just 50 questions to be answered in 35 mins without calculator. Now you see that
futo can change at any time to eliminate
candidates.  Early Preparation  therefore is the
only way to success with the help of past questions and practice.
