••• The step is very simple and i promise you won’t find it difficult at all doing your registration.•Just follow the steps belowStep........
1.“ Pay your acceptance fee at First City Monumental Bank (FCMB) located at wetheral road Owerri.It’s N25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only).. Make photocopy of the receipt and keep it safe. Keep it very safe again, if you lose it, you will not like the wahala that comes with it.
Step 2. After paying your acceptance fee, go to a cyber café preferably at the school premises and get these documents;¤ ORIGINAL JAMB RESULT
¤ ADMISSION LETER FROM JAMB and¤ADMISSION LETTER FROM THE SCHOOL....
All these will cost you closed to N3,200 (Three thousand two hundred naira only) though you should budget about N4,000 for this.••
Step 3.“ Now make a photocopy of these documents together with your acceptance fee teller.The next thing to do is to take a bike at the school park; tell the bike-man (okada man) you are going to the SENATE.When you get to the senate, walk up to the first floor by the left and you will see students waiting to submit their documents for the confirmation of their admission. Submit yours and come back in three days{3 days}time to get yours...
IMPORTANT NOTICE: don’t go there if you know that you didn’t merit the admission to avoid embarrassment. And it is big time embarrassment if you are the shy type.
Step 4“. Go to Diamond bank which is inside the school premises and pay N2,100 (Two Thousand one hundred naira only) bt pls budget N3,500 coz tins might jst change for the SUG fee and head to the SUG secretariat beside hostel. E to get the official SUG receipt. And do make sure to photocopy it.••
Step 5.“ Okay we are progressing, Now go to The School of Science (SOSC) building and pay N2,500 (Thousand five hundred naira only) for your medicals. You will be given a receipt. Remember to also photocopy the receipt and head to the school medical center located near the Hall of Mercy or Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church{STACC} nd Present your SUG receipt and you will be given a file which you will use for the whole Medical processes which includes;
¤ IMMUNIZATION
¤ EYE WEIGHT
¤ HEIGHT
¤ PULSE
¤ BP
¤ BLOOD TEST and
¤ X-RAY•••••.
Step 6“. Now wait for about a week after paying your acceptance fee. (is it up to a week after paying your acceptance fee?) Then proceed to the SOSC building were you will change your Acceptance fee teller to the schools official receipt. and also don’t forget to photocopy it. So far you need to keep all this documents both original and photocopy in a safe place•...
Step 7“. Now bud a bike- okada- to the Registrar’s office were you will present your Acceptance fee receipt and you will be given your Validity form...
Step 8.“ Then go back to the Senate and take your “confirmation of admission” form which makes you officially an admittedstudent. Otherwise known as a bona-fide student of FUTO!
At last!Step 9“. The next is to make available these items ready for your departmental clearance
¤ Photocopy of your acceptance fee receipt
¤ Photocopy of your departmental dues receipt
¤ Photocopy of your SUG receipt
¤ Photocopy of your Medical fee receipt
¤ Birth certificate
¤ Attestation letter from a reputable source (it could be clergy,school etc)
¤ Local Goverment of origin
¤ O’level result
¤ Original jamb result slip
¤ Jamb admission letter
¤ School admission letter
¤ Confirmation of admission(this is gotten from the senate)
¤ Validity form
¤ Post Ume result.•••
Step 10“. After completing your departmental clearance you will be given a form duly signed by the HOD of your department.This you will go with to FCMB Owerri to pay your School fees.Futo School fees is N45,800 (Fourty five thousand and eight hundred naira only) for Geology students and N44,800 (Fourty four thousand eight hundred naira only) for other departments.
Step 11.“ Congrats if you have done all the steps from the begining, now you are almost through with your registration.If you do like to reside in the school hostel then rush to the SOSC building.Ask for were the Hostel admins stay, then Write your name and course on a sheet of clean paper and give it to them they will give you a small form which you will need to fill, after filling the form, you head to the school’s micro finance Bank to pay the sum of N8,000 (Eight thousand naira only) for your hostel fee. Return to the hostel admin with your school fee’s receipt and the Hostel receipt you got from the micro finance bank. You will be asked to return in few days when you will be allocate a hostel.•••
Step 12. You have almost completed 80% to 90% ofthe whole process.Now you are a Bona-fide Student of The Federal University of Science and Technology FUTO•••••••
