*To be accepted to study at FUTO, interested applicants must apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME) body. you must have at least 5 credit passes to include English,&Mathematics and other courses depending on your course of choice. Your jamb score is next, Now, most student for example that choose Petroleum engineering and score 180 to 220 have less opportunity in getting the admission, except they can do excellently well in their post-utme exam and score up to 260 above, and its not a guarantee for it.
*As of 2012 admission in futo here are highlight of CUT-OFF Marks for admission into various departments:
Computer science – 260
Biochemistry – 255
Information management – 260
Industrial microbiology – 270
petroleum engr-270
mechanical-260
Elect Elect-260
The advice is this. If you see your jamb is not that ok but scored at least minimum of 180, just Go for a change of course or call for advice on 08100003084 and also feel free to visit futocommunity.edublogs.org for updates and questions .
Futo General cut-off mark stands at 180 which qualifies you for their post-utme exam. How futo calculate their Average score is by adding your jamb score + post-utme divide by 2 (i.e 220 jamb + 200 putme=220 average.). However futo Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers are available " at myschoolcomm.com.. Note that This Post UTME past questions and answers is a book that helps you prepare and have an insight as to what to expect during the post utme examinations in futo for 2013/3014 admission year,
